In fact, it’s almost time to share updates of some of these spaces, as I tend to change the look of my home a LOT. For now I’ll focus on the living room, which is a mix of retro and modern styles…

Pastel power! In the ’80s, pastels were anything but limited to kids’ rooms. In fact, they were a popular choice for living rooms. Think pink and purple sofas, ceramics in soft hues, and lots of pillows.
One of the most affordable ways to add retro style to your home in through sand art, rocks and minerals. While buying them from specialty shops isn’t always cheap, there are online sellers who offer affordable specimens, and I’ve found that estate sales are a great place to hunt them down!
