As we jump into today’s post, let’s look at a few ways to “get away from it all” this weekend while sitting on your couch wrapped in a blanket. We begin with some easy watercolor painting and then move into retro made-for-TV movie bingeing while consuming the beverage of your choice.
It’s officially one week until Halloween! This has always been one of my favorite times of the year, and as the end of October gets closer, I typically take a cool morning or afternoon to decorate pumpkins while listening to ’80s music and sampling chocolate.

Get ready for the ultimate in alien terror…masquerading as a pom pom craft. Remember the Weepuls?! If you grew up in the ’80s, you know these google-eyed, sticky foam-footed creatures well. Today’s post is all about nostalgia, complete with a Halloween twist. Read on for all the details on making your own DIY Weepuls, plus a little bit of ’80s horror movie trivia!
I had a few iridescent stickers in my collection as a child of the ’80s, and it seemed like a dream to find a soft rainbow of color peeking through the pearlescent shimmer. Call it an iridescent Halloween–I’m reveling in the pearly glow!
