While shopping for desks at IKEA last night, it occurred to me that getting an ’80s look in the office is actually quite easy. And affordable, thanks to IKEA! No, this isn’t a sponsored post. Just an observation after browsing countless products that celebrate the power of laminate-style surfaces and bright plastic. Ready for a closer look?…

We have 2 of those NOT floor lamps that you pictured. The lower lamp on ours are flexible, and each lamp has its own switch. Believe it or not, my husband found them at work in a dumpster!! Someone was just throwing them away, and there is nothing at all wrong with them. Some people are just so wasteful!!! We replaced the regular bulbs with LED fixtures.
Glad to know the lamps survived a dumpster adventure! Another great find! I’m seriously considering buying one of these lamps for my home office. So glad to know you’re enjoying them.
