Over the long weekend, I found an old Etsy gift card with a remaining balance of $12.57. For a few minutes, I wondered what I could possibly purchase with an amount so small, but my doubts were quickly put on hold when I searched for affordable ’80s art and jewelry finds. As it turns out, there are even some amazing Etsy finds for $10 and under. We’re talking edgy, eye-catching items that are in great condition. Check out my current favorites…
Above we see an ’80s Gold and White Necklace by Napier, available through The Baby Dynosaur. Gold-tone and white beads combine to create a bold statement that’s super affordable at $7.99. And if you collect Napier pieces, you know how well they hold up over time!
Next up: ’80s Italian postcards from Arti Grafiche Ricordi, available through Etsy shop Il Giardino Luxor. Anyone think the lovely lady on the right (above) could be Brooke Shields’ long lost sister? And the glam gal on the left could teach us all a thing or two about eye shadow application. The postcard with the tigers is $3.50 and the piano-motif postcard is $4. That means you can order both for under $10! And speaking of tigers…
…Next we have an ’80s Tiger Head Pendant from Funky Fondled and Fresh. There are no words, folks! And there don’t need to be, because this gold-toned necklace made from metal, enamel and crystals speaks for itself. And at $9, you won’t find a glitzier bargain!
Below we see the beauty of plastic and geometric wood. This look is very on-trend, especially given our current obsession with natural materials and geo forms. This ’80s Geometric Oversized Necklace from MPLS Vintage is an affordable $5!
We end with a glam necklace that rounds out our ’80s chic collection. This Vintage Metal Link Necklace from Etsy shop Goading the Muse (shown below) is a celebration of gold tones and black enamel. Wear it with a sleek top in a bold hue. Or pair it with a black dress and don’t forget the red lipstick! This piece can be yours for a mere $9.
