And even though the title of the piece is “Meeting in the Ladies Room,” there sure are a lot of men dressed in ’80s-tastic club wear. This track from 1985 made it to #4 on the Billboard R&B chart. One listen and you can see why. And one look at the video–WOW! In terms of fashion, there are some seriously flashy pieces in the club. Shoulder pads, high-waisted pants, sequins and crop tops all make an appearance. Then there’s the ladies room–FABULOUS with its grid walls and well-stocked perfume that probably smelled of glitter and money.
