Mirror80 wishes you a festive March 17th! And what better way to celebrate than by showcasing some of our favorite finds in today’s verdant color of choice?! Let’s start with the vibrant green fabric above. I’ve plugged it before, and I’ll plug it again–Marnie Fogg’s 1980s Fashion Print (available at amazon.com) is packed with enough textile design to appease the “material girl” in you. And this fabric celebrates a playful take on classical motifs.
Teal was the “it” green of the ’80s, as shown on the teal frame below. Note the ’80s Deco lines and silver-toned detail. I know the frame is “wearing green,” but I still want to pinch it!
Remember these purses?:
Oh so chic, and part of the trend toward ornamentation (chains, tassels, bows) that has recently made a comeback. You can never have too much adornment, and the gold trim on this bag is every bit as striking as the dark green suede.
Enjoy these images of green, and have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
