Each season I eagerly await the new arrivals from ferm LIVING, a Denmark-based design and interior products company founded by Trine Andersen. I’ve been known to check the site repeatedly when I sense a new collection is on the horizon! This season I was absolutely delighted by the retro motifs that appear in the AW2015 Collection. From Bauhaus-inspired pieces to modular tables that bring playful design home, the new offerings are rooted in the company’s Scandinavian-meets-retro aesthetic. And I’m loving the emphasis on retro!…
At the very top of the post, we see the oval Outline Wall in blue, a piece created from laser-cut wood. I’m also a big fan of the Plant Boxes (available in Grey, Ochre, Blue and Black). Above we see the Cluster Tables in the Multi color motif, made from powder-coated metal.
If you loved ferm LIVING’s Hexagon Pot, you’ll be glad to know that this season the item is offered in Extra Large (shown at the left in the photo above). Oh, and that wallpaper! Below we see another fabulous Outline Wall, this time Bauhaus-inspired in Smoked Oak:
Anyone else loving the Deco motifs in the collection? These Outline Dinner Mats are the perfect mix of vintage and modern. And don’t they beautifully enhance a contemporary table setting?
Last but not least, we get a dash of New Memphis style with the Elkeland Mobile in Blue. Great for kids’ rooms and grown ups’ rooms alike!
