Happy Monday, Everyone! This has been the busiest summer I’ve had in a long time, but it’s also been one of the best. Lots of friends and family visiting from out of town, and lots of lazy nights outside. But not too lazy–there are always side projects in the works, like new endeavors for Mirror80. My ideal weekend involves a healthy blend of relaxation and creativity. This past weekend was just that. Today I’m sharing a few snapshots…
Todd and I celebrated our anniversary this weekend by enjoying some down time here in Austin. We headed over to La Condesa for brunch and enjoyed their classic margarita. Little did I realize that it’s been voted Austin’s Best Margarita! We’ve had a tight budget this summer, so rather than taking a big trip, we’ve been trying to enjoy some different restaurants and adventures here in town. This weekend was no exception. Then we did a little shopping! The Seaweed Soap and earthy bracelets above are both from Mercury, one of my favorite local boutiques. You may have noticed that Mirror80 has a new look these days. Todd’s big anniversary gift to me is a website redesign. There’s still a lot we’re adding and tweaking, so stay tuned for the full update. Thanks, Todd, for the time and energy you’ve spent on this! <3
Above is a pic of Todd and me, taken shortly after we were married. The photographer is one of my very best friends, Peter Tung. You may remember his stunning work from some of my favorite Mirror80 photo shoots.
Finally, very few of my weekends come and go without a DIY project! Above we see a sneak peek of the latest Mirror80 creation. I’ll be sharing the full project on Friday.
