Happy 2nd Birthday, Mirror80! Yes, today is the big 2! For our first birthday we threw a party. This year we celebrate by launching the Mirror80 Tumblr! That’s right–we’ll be featuring our favorite ’80s art, fashion and interior design pics. From screen shots to modern takes on 1980s style, we’ve got your favorite decade covered. And we’re just getting started… Keep checking back for great new pics!
At this time, I’d also like to thank YOU, the readers, for your continued support and encouragement. When I started this blog, there was little online representation of ’80s art and design. In fact, I could count every image, article and blog post that featured 1980s interiors. With the advent of the ’80s Tumblr, our favorite decade is back in full force. Now that’s something to celebrate! Not to mention, a rising interest in ’80s art and interior design is rivaling the popularity of 1980s fashion.
