If you’ve read my post on acrylic furniture, you know I’ve been enjoying my new writing gig at Decoist, an online magazine specializing in interior design and architecture. From time to time, I’ll be pointing Mirror80 readers to my posts that highlight items with ’80s flair. If you’re into lacquer, this is your lucky day!
The shiny cube above (left) has white lacquer sides and a black mirrored top. Available at TheuroStyle, the piece is matched by coffee and console table counterparts. Beside it is the Columbia Lacquered Coffee Table (from Barclay Butera Lifestyle) in all of its glossy red glory. This item is a bold take on the Parson’s Table, which was designed in the 1930s, and like many other pieces from that decade, experienced a resurgence in the ’80s.

And have a phenomenal Wednesday!
