Last November, I had the pleasure of interviewing author, actress, director, producer and supermodel extraordinaire Annabel Schofield! Glamorous, charismatic and wonderfully down to earth, this international fashion model of the 1980s starred in ad campaigns for Revlon, Gianni Versace, Yves St. Laurent and Levi’s (to name a few), and you probably remember her from that iconic Bugle Boy Jeans commercial… At the time of our interview (which you can read here and here), Annabel had written a novel called The Cherry Alignment. This tasty read is now available in its entirety on Amazon.com, and we’d like to once again congratulate Annabel on her literary achievement!
Interviewing Annabel was a blast because this lovely lady says exactly what she thinks. Which is precisely why The Cherry Alignment is such an enjoyable read. Imagine an ’80s insider taking you through the highs and lows of the decade of decadence. The plot: Angelika Douglas, a gorgeous bon vivant who loves living large, experiences the excitement of fame in the 1980s through modeling, acting and more. But when she is forced to face her biggest challenge yet, Angelika begins to reevaluate her life. And we get to relive the ’80s and ’90s fun right along with her…
I talk to so many people who wish they’d been at the center of key art, music and fashion movements during this exciting time. If you didn’t get to experience the fun the first time around, The Cherry Alignment is for you! Plus, it’s just a great read! And we’re so happy it’s now available on Amazon.com. Congrats, Annabel!
