There are some industries that never seem to replace the ’70s/’80s visuals they use to market their products and services. And we couldn’t be happier about that! In fact, we’ve profiled the retro style of Poconos and Niagara Falls hotel marketing materials, as well as the ’80s look of Florida vacation condos. Today we’re all about the sunrooms…
Today’s sunroom of choice: the curved eave sunroom, also known as the curved eave solarium. How can we resist the rounded form and that pronounced window trim?! The interesting thing about these pics is that multiple sunroom companies use the same images to market their products and services–they must have the same suppliers. We’re even wondering if these photos have been circulating since the ’80s. Either way, we’re good with it! Above and below see images from Petkus Brothers, my new heroes…
In this next sunroom, we don’t know what we like better: the wooden window trim or those wooden tables!…
And how can you go wrong with white sofas? And white floor tile? And white appliances…
We end with a big dose of ’80s Deco style. Because nothing says “sunroom” like a black vase of faux peach flowers!
I hope these pics help put you in the summer mood! Maybe one day I’ll have a retro-style sunroom of my own…

Hi Marcia–
I’m sorry for the late reply. And I wish I could be more help. This post is a roundup of sunroom designs–I don’t actually sell them. If you click on the names of the companies (featured in the photo captions), you can get more information about pricing, etc. Some of the links no longer work due to changes in the company websites, but you can still search for the company names and see what they’re offering. Thank you for getting in touch.

Can u give me an idea of cost, etc, for a 12ft. deep X 28ft. wide wood trimmed curved glass sunroom addition to attach to existing structure. Would need 3 sides only.
