While shopping this weekend, I came across an assortment of ’80s-style shirts for men. As it turns out, Topman has been heavily influenced by 1980s colors, patterns and cuts in the creation of their new collection. Today we celebrate the fun of flamboyant design, as well as the joy of the slightly over-sized fit. As Topman claims, “Our new 80’s inspired fit with wider, dropped shoulders and fuller sleeves is designed to create an oversized streetwear silhouette.” And with sizes ranging from XXS-XXL, there’s definitely a perfect fit for everyone!
Above we see the Camo Print Short Sleeve Shirt, complete with a range of blue and grey tones. The wild design continues below with the Grey Cheetah Print Oversized Short-Sleeve Shirt. And yes, there are actual cheetahs in the pattern…
From cheetah to leopard! Though it’s called the Green Leopard Short Sleeve Shirt, we think the jungle-fabulous design below looks stylishly blue:
Break out the splatter paint! Actually, thanks to this ’80s-style design, now you don’t have to… The Off White Paint Splat Print Short Sleeve Shirt brings a touch of salmon to the wardrobe. And if we learned anything from Crockett and Tubbs, it’s that you can’t go wrong with salmon.
It’s the same splatter style, only in aqua… The Green Splat Print Oversized Short-Sleeve Shirt has a bit of Memphis-Milano design in its makeup:
We end with a touch of tribal flair, mixed in with signature ’80s checkerboard style. It’s the Red Multi Print Short Sleeve Shirt, complete with shades of yellow, purple, blue, and yes, reddish magenta!
Hope these patterns brightened your Tuesday!

Hi! Thanks for writing! Since this post is from 2013, I’m sad to say that your best bet may be eBay or another second-hand source. My apologies, and I wish you luck in hunting it down!!!
