The Art of Vasare Nar

 Today we showcase the work of Belfast-based artist Vasare Nar, whose tribal art puts a new spin on ’80s motifs. Her blog, Vasare’s Visual Wonderland, highlights her amazing illustrations and photography. Not to mention, her designs can be purchased in the form of prints, stretched canvases, iPhone cases, laptop skins, tees and more through her Society6 shop!

Nar has taken traditional (and not-so-traditional) tribal patterns and put an undeniably modern twist on them, creating a whole new look for a new generation. Even”older” generations can appreciate these amazing works of art! Geometric shapes and bold colors take center stage in the creation below, titled VLIEëR:

Next we see another geometric masterpiece titled HELAKU, which means “full of sun” in the Navajo Indian language:
