An ’80s Interior Design Project
Hi Everyone! Just wanted to update you on Mirror80’s latest design project–my new place! If you’ve been following the blog over the last month or so, you know there have been some fun decisions along the way, including selecting a pendant light for the dining room (an ongoing saga) and brainstorming ways to “just go with” the ’80s-style kitchen–which just happens to be my favorite room in the house!

It’s no secret that lately I’ve been obsessed with ’80s kitchens, likely because I’m about to move into a new place where the kitchen has distinct elements of 1980s style. As I’m trying to plan out how to accessorize the space, I’ve been looking through my ’80s design books (a.k.a. my decorating bibles), and I’ve pulled some amazing images of ’80s modern kitchens. New Retro Weekender: Cooking Up Some ’80s-Style Design!
Happy Friday, Everyone! What are you up to this weekend? On my agenda is a list of tasks that relate to my upcoming move. For one thing, we’re finally getting a little more space. Which means we may have room for more than a couch in the living room! I’m on the hunt for a couple of comfy chairs. Not to mention, there’s wiring for a pendant light to hang over the dining room table–looks like it’s time to head to IKEA!
