Happy Wednesday! I wanted to take some time today and check in with all of you. Since the start of the new year, I’ve been making an effort to include more original photo shoots here at Mirror80. I’ve rounded up some of my favorites below. It goes without saying that every week I’ll continue to post lots of original design photos from the ’80s (many of them from my favorite 1980s design books). But I want to know what you’ve enjoyed in terms of original shoots. What are your favorites? The still life shoots? The photos that show you how to get the ’80s look at home? DIY projects? Recipes? Scroll through the images below, then tell me what you want to see more of by leaving a comment at the bottom of the post.

Retro-Style Recipes
If you’ve followed my Retro Foodie series, you know how much I love to entertain and prepare interesting food as part of the process. Sometimes the recipes involve edibles that were popular in the ’80s, and sometimes it’s the styling alone that makes the food “retro”…

They’re all vibrant and fun. But for some reason, I’m especially drawn to any of them that include plants.

Thank you for your comment, Sean! I’m definitely plant-obsessed, so there will be plenty of future shoots with greenery. So glad to know you enjoy them!
