In fact, Etsy features some pretty phenomenal shops that focus on the Recent Retro (the late ’70s through the ’90s), and even more shops that focus on a wider range of items but consistently have great ’80s finds. Some of them even include beautiful photos that are especially enticing…

This is a new area for me, but I’m determined to get at least one wild and crazy purse to add to my summer wardrobe. This ’80s Abstract Geometric Purse from Etsy shop Spiderbot features an array of colors and textures on a crisp white background. Perfect for a trip to Miami!

This next ’80s geometric patchwork purse from Etsy shop Versau Vintage also includes a variety of materials and colors, this time in deeper hues such as teal and mauve…kind of like the Mirror80 header and logo! Love the angular pattern, as well as the way it’s offset by the purse’s white background. Another great find for summer:

’80s Deco Jewelry
I have a history of buying ’80s Deco jewelry on Etsy, especially necklaces! I can’t get enough of those clean lines and sweeping curves. I’m in love with this 1980s Yellow Lucite Fringe Bib Necklace from Etsy shop Orbiting Debris. Perhaps it’s the space age-meets-Egyptian look:

I could see these ’80s Art Deco Black Fan Earrings from Etsy shop Telepresent on a high-powered career woman during the decade of decadence. Or a woman in any decade heading out for the evening, looking Deco-fabulous in her big ‘8os jewelry!

Last but not least, I enjoy checking out the 1980s art collection that Etsy has to offer. Don’t get me wrong–I frequently scan my local thrift shops for retro posters and paintings. But Etsy provides one more amazing source for colorful finds of the artistic nature, like this 1983 Balloon Festival Print from FW Gallery:
