Checkered Tile and Geo Forms

Today’s post is purely for fun! If you caught Mirror80’s recent roundup of retro interiors with checkered floors, you know that geo objects, vibrant colors and surreal elements were often set against the backdrop of checkered tile in the 1980s. I got a little bit inspired by the photos (see all of them here), and I decided to snap a few pics using items from my bookshelf and display cabinet.
