Today I’m sharing a super easy cocktail that can be mixed in 5 minutes… Plus, I needed a reason to show off these new Cylinder Pink Champagne Flutes from CB2. $2.95 apiece, folks! With a few simple ingredients and a splash of retro flair, you’ve got yourself a showstopper. That’s affordable. And delicious!
The Lemon Fizz
1 ounce elderflower liqueur
1 teaspoon lemon juice
cava, prosecco or champagne
lemon to garnish
*serves 1
When it comes to elderflower liqueur, you can’t go wrong with St. Germain. The bottle is beautiful and the flavor is outstanding! All you do to mix this little beauty is add the liqueur and the lemon juice to your champagne flute, and top it off with some bubbly.
As you can see, I couldn’t help but have some citrus candy gummies on hand for an extra sweet treat. Since this drink is so easy to make, you can adjust the balance of ingredients as needed. Too sweet for your liking? Use less elderflower liqueur. Too dry? Add more. A lot of it will depend on the flavor of your champagne, cava or prosecco.
Don’t forget the lemon garnish! The straw is optional. Cheers! XOXO, Kate
