Happy Holidays, Everyone! I’ll be taking a break from blogging for a week or so, then picking back up just before the new year. Before I wind down for the break, I want to wish all of you a restful holiday season, filled with festivity and (hopefully) some down time. And I also hope that somewhere in the midst of the busy-ness, you can spend time with the people you care about the most.
And if you still haven’t sent those people a Christmas card, it’s not too late! The card in the photo above is from Target, and it reminds me of the ’80s. Maybe because it resembles the ’80s brooch that’s also in the picture (a garage sale find)! Todd and I sent out these cards this year, and they were perfect. Below you will find a few holiday memories from last year, as well as a closer look at that brooch! First up, an easy-to-make spiked hot chocolate recipe!
Some of my tree ornaments from last year’s holiday decorating post…
This red spiral ornament is one of my very favorites. More decorating fun here.
I’m going to find a way to wear this ’80 brooch over the holidays. Still deciding on the shirt that will be the perfect backdrop to the retro spiral-y goodness!
And last but not least, just a quick reminder that making your own Memphis-style gift wrap is as easy as drawing with a paint pen! Or paint, as shown in this year’s gift bag post.
Wishing you and yours a Happy Holiday! Cheers! XOXO, Kate
