Happy first day of summer! I wanted to start off the week by sharing some snapshots from our beach trip this weekend. Todd and I headed to Corpus Christi, TX to visit family, and it was wonderful to see everyone. I was determined to get some photos of beachfront architecture, but what I didn’t expect was the large number of hotels and office buildings that were built in the ’70s and ’80s…
In fact, I was more taken with the glass windows and architectural angles than with the beach. There’s not a lot of sandy shore territory in Corpus. But there sure are a lot of reflective panes and towering palms!…
I loved seeing the boats, and some of the trademark beachy buildings…
Throw in some ’70s/’80s modern architecture and a waterfront view, and it’s hard to imagine a better way to spend a weekend!
And if you’re lucky, the camera will pick up a strange glare that puts an intergalactic spin on the trip:
Wishing you a great week ahead!…
