How’s your November going? Mine has been much busier than usual, and as plans for Thanksgiving are underway, I’ve started thinking about the importance of enjoying some quiet reflection this month. Celebrating with the entire family is an amazing experience that I would never give up, but it’s also fun to take some time with friends, or even smaller groups of family members. Fall dinner parties are one of my favorite endeavors, and today we dream up an ’80s-style Thanksgiving palette for our next Retro Foodie photo shoot. Remember our recent posts on hunting for ’80s treasures at garage sales and thrift stores? I’ve picked up some fun finds along the way, and last month I also created a painted butternut squash inspired by ’80s landscape art.
