The Luminous Acrylic Desk in Blue by Alexandra Von Furstenberg

If you think the image above is a set piece from the movie Tron, think again. This acrylic desk is one of many stunning pieces offered by designer Alexandra Von Furstenberg. Once married to the son of Diane Von Furstenberg, Alexandra has made a name for herself by creating a series of colorful acrylic furnishings. Our favorite part: many of these showpieces have a distinct ’80s vibe!

We now spotlight shiny black and white offerings from Alexandra Von Furstenberg (AVF). The Radiant Acrylic Coffee Table in black (below, top) can be customized to fit the needs of your space. The M-16 Cube Acrylic End Tables in white (below, bottom) are glossy pieces that can also serve as bedside tables. Need a slim coffee table option? Make these items modular by placing them side by side! As true with many AVF pieces, the furnishings below come in a range of colors.

Speaking of colors, things are about to get vibrant…really vibrant! The Brilliant Acrylic Console Table in red (below, top) has colorful edging, the perfect ’80s-style flourish. And if neon edging is what you desire, check out the On the Rocks Acrylic Side Table in green (below, bottom left). The Trillion Acrylic Side Table in blue (below, bottom right) is one of AVF’s most popular designs. True to form, all three offerings come in a range of colorful options.

When it comes to AVF acrylic products, today’s pieces are just the tip of the iceberg. Check out the designer’s website for her full collection of colorful furnishings and accessories, and for more reading about acrylic furniture, don’t miss a piece I wrote for Decoist on Maximizing Space With Acrylic Furniture. Have a radiant Monday!

Nice tables! I really like the table on the first picture and the red/pink console table.
