An '80s cloisonne locket
Valentine’s Day has arrived, and while this holiday has gotten way out of hand commercially, there are some eternal truths worth acknowledging. Like love and friendship.
I still wear the cloisonne heart locket shown above, given to me by my childhood friend Jaime during the 1980s. Inside were our pictures–a reminder of the sweetness of friendship. Take some time to remember the loves of your life today, be they romantic, or those dear friends who give you strength. Didn’t get that bouquet of flowers you’d hoped for?
