Today we bring you the trailer from the 1987 film The Secret of My Success starring Michael J. Fox and Helen Slater. In this comedy, we see Michael J. Fox’s Brantley Foster go from Kansas farm boy to corporate executive. His methods are a bit unconventional, and that’s where the drama begins. While Michael J. Fox IS this movie, we can’t help but notice the shiny backdrops that gleam behind his center-stage antics. In fact, ’80s corporate life has never looked so luminous.
From expansive glass windows with shiny metal dividers to exotic floral arrangements in modern vases, the office setting of this film will have you wondering if the long hours are worth it. What’s little yuppie angst if you get to work in a place like this?… Okay, maybe marble tiles can’t soothe the pain of having no personal life. But we can still be happily distracted by the preview for this ’80s-fabulous movie.:
