A couple weeks ago, I shared some of my favorite ’80s-meets-modern Etsy finds, including a feldspar pendant from One Of A Kind Stones, the shop of Curtis Bort. In addition to the pendant, I ordered a variety of stone decorations and display pieces, and today I’m showing them off in a new photo shoot! I want to put these geometric wonders in every room of the house. And use them in my terrariums. And arrange them in my display case. I just might have to order a few more…
Above we see beautifully carved Todolite (left) and Chrysocolla (right) specimens. One of them is already starring in my latest mineral scape. Below we see both pieces, along with a Marble Octagon. I love its sculptural form. Did I mention that Curtis Bort’s pricing is very fair! Perfect for the design enthusiast who wants to amass a collection.
I’ll end with this Pink Marble Upright, which boasts a faceted form that beautifully catches the light:
Curtis Borts’ Etsy shop features four categories: Pendants, Stone Only, Stone Decorations and Tumbled/Polished. Can you tell I’m partial to the stone decorations?! Check out One Of A Kind Stones, and if you purchase anything, I’d love to hear how you displayed it!
A special thank you to Curtis Bort for inspiring today’s post.
