Happy Wednesday, Everyone! Today we kick off a new series called ’80s Art Picks! Every couple of weeks, I’ll be rounding up my favorite selections from sources such as eBay and Etsy. The focus: interesting, affordable pieces currently for sale. I love heading to Goodwill and other thrift stores for my ’80s art finds, but sometimes it’s nice to look for exactly what you want online and order the artwork of your dreams with the click of a few keys. Today’s theme is abstract pastel art from the 1980s.
At the very top of the post we see a set of 2 ’80s Abstract Geometric Surreal Art Poster Prints from Etsy shop I Luv Belle Arte. Also from this shop is this set of 2 ’80s Abstract Geometric Space Art Poster Prints (shown above). Both sets of prints are from 1989.
Next we showcase two more Etsy finds, shown side by side below. Note how this Rare Desert Series Poster by Boreman and its counterpart connect to form one large image. Both can be purchased through Etsy shop Poster Perfection.
Next we head on over to eBay, where there’s no shortage of geometric art from the 1980s. The two pieces below are our current favorites! First we have a close-up of a Modernist Abstract Acrylic Oil Painting from a…fast…shipper. The artist is Martin, and as you can see, amazing details abound:
And to top it all off, pure geometry and pastels reign in this ’80s abstract litho print published by Donald Art. It can be yours through eBay store Prints and Posters. And it has a companion piece, which is just as rad!
I’m loving the forms and colors featured in today’s selections. Stay tuned for many more fabulous ’80s art roundups to come. Until then, check out our post on where to buy ’80s art! Don’t forget that you can browse weekly garage and estate sales in your area as well. Happy hunting…

I love watching old episodes of Murder She Wrote, especially when Jessica is staying in a swanky hotel. I look past the actors – at the 80s art on the wall! Where is it now?
