Happy Wednesday, Everyone! I’ve been in a thrifting mood lately, and the experience has restored my faith in the return of 1980s collectibles! I thought I’d share some of my favorite finds with you, especially those with interesting lines and curves. Some were a few dollars. And then there are those pieces that are worth paying a bit more for, especially if they aren’t that easy to track down. Like the retro Toyo vase above, which I purchased from Etsy shop Vintage Lanie.
Below we see an ’80s grooved square necklace from Etsy shop Thrift Whore Vintage, which I recently featured in this post. I love the way the lines on each bead fall at interesting diagonals…
Next we celebrate the power of Goodwill. Yes, this thrift shop is the source of many of my favorite ’80s Deco finds, like the glass vase below. I have many ceramic vases with sweeping lines, but this was the first glass vase I purchased with a Deco motif…
…And here’s an ’80s ceramic vase in a peachy tone (as many of them are)! Another fabulous find for a few bucks.
When it comes to thrift store finds, what do you enjoy collecting? My favorite sources for affordable ’80s treasures so far have been Etsy and Goodwill. And then there’s eBay… Any other places worth checking out? Leave a comment below!
