With Halloween rapidly approaching, there was no other choice for today’s Friday Video Pick. This hauntingly likable tune from British New Wave pop group Toto Coelo was not as popular as their first release, “I Eat Cannibals,” but it’s perfect for this time of the year!
The castle setting isn’t particularly ’80s, nor are the pajama costumes. In this video, it’s the little things that count. The white ankle boots, the upturned collars, the convulsive dancing, the teased, ribbon-filled hair. Yes, this video could’ve only come from the ’80s. Enjoy!
