Enjoy this 1984 track by Missing Persons. Rarely do so many factors combine to make ’80s video perfection!
Be on the lookout for:
1) A neon light- and metal sculpture-clad set that screams ’80s modern.
2) Extended close-ups of male and female band members in full punk makeup with enough detail to double as a “how-to” cosmetic segment for your next ’80s-themed event.
3) The amazing ensembles of lead singer Dale Bozzio. Are those earrings crafted from aluminum foil?… Bozzio was well-known for her wonderfully eccentric fashion choices, much like another pop star many are “ga-ga” over these days.
4) One of the most wicked guitars to appear in a music video. As a side note, guitarist Warren Cuccurullo went on to play with Duran Duran after Missing Persons disbanded in 1986.
5) Terry Bozzio’s electronic drum kit isn’t bad either… And his energy level in this video rivals that of then-wife Dale.
Have a colorful Friday!
