Today’s pumpkin painting endeavor was inspired by the current terrazzo trend. “Terrazzo”, as in the flooring material filled with flecks of marble or granite! These days, terrazzo style can be found on everything from flooring and furniture to pillows and jewelry. Let’s see what happens when a terrazzo pattern is painted on pumpkins…

Happy Fall! It’s the first official day of the new season, so I’m sharing a pumpkin painting project with you…and it’s filled with New Memphis style! Not to mention, it couldn’t be easier to pull off. My inspiration: the Memphis Milano-inspired designs that are increasingly covering new pillows, blankets, clothing and ceramics.

Happy Friday, Everyone! Today I’m sharing the pics from my latest photo shoot–a tribute to the retro power of fall produce. Pumpkins and gourds are the items of choice here, but instead of traditional arrangements featuring fall leaves, we’re shining the spotlight on accents such as marble, mirrors and tropical greenery. The result: a fresh approach to the fall centerpiece, and one that can’t help but channel ’80s-meets-modern design. Check out the images that follow, as well as some seasonal entertaining tips…
